NORTHWEST VETERANS MC

Current Events
All of our club members have spent a portion of their lives serving our country as a proud member in one of the branches of the Armed Forces. Whether it be the Army, Navy, Air Force, Marines or Coast Guard.

Their service to our country in their respective branch has had a lasting affect on their lives. The bond that each had created with their friends while during their time in the service is now carried over to the club members.

A majority of our members are of the Vietnam Era; with only a few who served during Operation Desert Storm. It is our hope that other Operation Desert Storm or Operation Iraqi Freedom Veterans will be interested in joining our club in the near future in order to continue to help the club grow and expand its membership. If you are interested, please click on the "Contact Us" tab on the left-side of the page and call Ken or Tom and ask them how to become a member of NVMC.

As a club, we continue to support active duty members, their families and honor veterans in the fund raising activities that we involve ourselves in.  Please come out and support us and the troops by stopping by one of our booths and signing one of our "Support Our Troops" banners.

**UPDATE**

Well, you can pretty much "Officially" call it Winter now.  With the economy as bad as it is, our "Support the Troops" banner campaign didn't do as well as it has in the past. It was partly due to those certain motorcycle shops not having as much public interaction, as in, less BBQ's and party's all around. That's where we usually are invited to to set up a table and hang out for the day. Let's hope that everything will be better overall next summer.

The club will be back in full swing come spring 2010 with our booth set up at one of the local Harley dealerships doing our best to collect donations for our "Support The Troops" banner campaign. You'll see people signing them in the picture slideshow on the "Photo" page. The banners get sent directly to specific members of the Armed Forces whose names are given to us by people that are signing the banner. We send that military member a care package along with the banner. All we ask of that military member is to take a picture of themselves and their buddy's if they want, holding the banner some time after they receive it and send it via snail mail or email back to us as a thank you. So, keep your eye on the "Calendar" page this spring/summer 2010 for a location where you can find us and come out to support us; supporting the troops. Thanks
